Austinites especially understand the magical meal that is brunch; intrinsic in the culture of "Keep Austin Weird" is the idea that Austin should be kept, well, a little lazy on the weekends. Brunch is the meal that brings bleary eyed hipsters, socialites, power yuppies and kid-toting families together to drink seven different beverages at one sitting, and no one bats an eye. (But depending on where you go, there may be plenty of batting eyelashes.)

Today, we share our latest update of the Eater Austin brunch heatmap, wherein we map out the hottest spots for weekend day drinking-and-dining, from epic Gourdough's donuts to a breakfast Frito pie at Lamberts. As always, if there's a favorite new restaurant—or an established one trying new things—that we've missed, let us know on the tipline or in the comments.
