The amazing weather this week means it’s time for Austinites to eat and drink outside. Eater Austin updated the patio heatmap with the latest places to enjoy the fresh air, including Jacoby’s rustic backyard overlooking the Colorado River, newcomer Stay Gold’s lounge-style seating, and Olamaie’s bungalow porch. Noble Sandwich Company
Noble Sandwich Co's John Bates calls their patio "killer" on Twitter, and this second location has been burning up Austin since it opened.
Chavez
Chavez doesn't just boast grew views; over the course of the spring they'll be rolling out poolside snacks and drinks.
Cheer Up Charlies
Cheer Up's new home in the former Club Deville space is bigger and better and still feels just like home. They are hosting food trucks off and on as well.
G'Raj Mahal Cafe
The permanent home of this popular food trailer is still seriously focused on al fresco dining, which big patio spaces out front and back.
The Container Bar
After a long wait, Bridget Dunlap's bar made of shipping containers finally exists. The containers might be its defining feature, but they surround lots of great outdoor space.
Half Step
Rainey's new high end cocktail bar features a lush indoor space, and a party out back with a huge backyard and a dedicated outdoor bar. It should roll out in full over the course of the spring.
The Silo On 7th
The Silo on 7th's features an East Side rarity: rooftop seating. They have a sunset happy hour daily to encourage maximum roof enjoyment.
La V
La V's current small outdoor space is well-appointed, and they're planning on creating their Jardins de La V, an 'urban escape' that will host private events and outdoor performances.
Wonderland Austin
The new bar from the Bar Congress team features kegged cocktails and lots of outdoor space. The newest East Side King truck, Thai Kun, is in the backyard, too.
Kyoten
This sushi trailer has crafted their own zen garden, complete with firepit and dog. They're now sharing space with Colombian truck Patakon as well.
Licha's Cantina
Reacquaint yourself with this location's excellent front and back outdoor seating in its new incarnation as Licha's. The menu features Mexico City cantina food and a serious focus on agave spirits.
