The 2018 midterm elections are finally here on Tuesday, November 6. All eyes are on Texas since it’s home to one of the country’s biggest races: the Texas Senate seat between Democratic candidate Beto O’Rourke and the incumbent Republican Senator Ted Cruz. That, along with the races for governors, attorney general, commissioners, plus local propositions on affordable housing, transportation, etc., there’s much on the line.

After casting that vote, you’ll probably want to try to relax with a drink or two as you wait for the results, so hit up one of Austin’s Election Day parties. There’s the official Democratic party at the Driskill, the Republican one at Cover 3, plus numerous others.

After voting, scope out Austin’s best voter deals, from free ice cream to free bagels, too.
