The Eater Austin Beer Heatmap, December '13

View as Map

Eater Austin has always alerted readers to the newest and buzziest drinking heat, but with such a booming bar scene, it's time to specialize. Welcome to the first ever Beer Heatmap, dedicated to all things brewed. The December edition also presents a handy look at Austin's Year in Beer.

Austin loves craft beer. The proof is everywhere: brewers have more demand than supply, restaurants at all price points are offering local and seasonal brews, and the city's options simply keep growing by the day. While stalwarts like The Ginger Man, Easy Tiger, and Billy's On Burnet are known to many, allow Eater to direct you to newer stops worthy of your time and attention.
