The 15 Dishes Austinites Can't Stop Ordering

View as Map

On last Friday's open thread, Eater asked readers which dishes they just can't quit at their favorite restaurants, menu favorites that exert such a powerful sway you accidentally never order anything else. Many of Austin's most popular restaurants - Uchi, Ramen Tatsu-Ya, Contigo - offer crave-able delights beyond the dishes that made them famous. Also, no matter where Austinites go, they cannot resist a good enchilada.

Eater now presents a map of The 15 Dishes Austinites Can't Stop Ordering. These fifteen were chosen either because they were named by numerous readers, one fan made an especially passionate argument, or they were unexpected or surprising in some way. If your favorite isn't listed below, hit the comments or the tipline and make the case. Hat tip to sister site Eater PDX, whose map inspired this one.
