Mapped: Food Trucks Gone, Going Brick-And-Mortar

View as Map

While cities across the country look to Austin when they want to build a thriving food truck culture, Austin trucks continue to roll forward into brick-and-mortar locations. The food truck trend probably isn't dying in town just yet, but it's clear that many Austin trucks consider their meals on wheels to be a first stop, rather than a destination.

To celebrate their successes, Eater Austin's mapped out the city's food trailers that've made the move from mobile to stationary with our map of brick-and-mortar former (and, to be fair, some current) food trucks. Here you'll find the new El Naranjo and Counter Culture, as well as old favorites like Lucky J's and Hey Cupcake!, plus a mapfull more.

Did we leave any of your favorites off the list? Any glaring omissions? Let us know at the tipline.
