This Sunday marks the beginning of Texas Tiki Week, a week of rummified boozing brought to your liver by the Austin chapter of the U.S. Bartenders Guild's David Alan, a.k.a the Tipsy Texan, in honor of rum expert Ed Hamilton's visit to Texas.
Everything kicks off June 24th when North Loop becomes "Rum Row," and concludes on Saturday with a Tiki Block Party at the Noble Pig. In the middle? In the middle is a lot of rum. That's why Eater Austin has mapped out a guide to bars participating in the official Tikistivities--and if anyone knows of a locale that's celebrating unofficially, send us a tip and we'll add them to the map.
