Gone are the days when Round Rock was little more than a sleepy suburban sister to Austin's bustling boom town. The north-of-Austin suburb population has grown rapidly for quite some time, which brings along a which comes with a barrage of top-notch dining and drinking establishments in the area.

Now, Round Rock residents don’t have to trek down I-35 — and vice versa, Austinites can head up the highway — for good food and drinks. These include Texas comfort food from Jack Allen’s Kitchen, giant doughnuts from Round Rock Donuts, solid pasta from Gino’s Italian, Southern cuisine from Y’alls Cafe, and much more.
