While Central, East, and South Austin may get all the media love when it comes to popular restaurants, dwellers of Northwest Austin have been quietly enjoying some delicious restaurants for years.

In the area (from the Arboretum to 45), there’s gorgeous oysters to slurp at Eddie V’s, comforting pizza and pints at Pour House, and plenty of purple margs to sip at Baby A’s. The healthy food at Honest Mary’s makes for a perfect lunch, while the flavorful Uzbek cuisine at UZeat offers hearty dishes.

There’s a plethora of scrumptious Asian cuisines too, including Indian, ramen, sushi, and Chinese. The original location Soto has incredible sushi, Sangam Chettinad has irresistible parotta bread, and the massive H Mart Market Eatery has every kind of kimchi under the sun.

Neighbors and commuters alike will find old favorites and new dishes to try in Northwest Austin.

The original Soto location is technically in Cedar Park, but it’s so close to Northwest Austin and extremely delicious that it had to be included on this list. This sushi restaurant is dishing up gorgeous cuts of fish on its makimono menu. Save room for green tea tiramisu.
