While Dripping Springs was once a sleepy hamlet out in the Hill Country, it’s now practically become a suburb of Austin with a bevy of interesting dining options from food trucks to fine dining. Here is Eater’s guide to dining and drinking in Dripping Springs.

Many casual dining options exist near the town square on historic Mercer Street (which also houses the dripping springs the town is named for), including Mazama Coffee and Homespun Kitchen and Bar. However, the many breweries, wineries, and distilleries on Fitzhugh Road (including Treaty Oak Distilling, Texas winemakers C.L. Butaud, and James Beard-recognized Jester King Brewery), have paved created a new culinary thoroughfare with excellent food to match, like pizzas at Jester King or incredible breads and pastries at Abby Jane Bakeshop. There are even fine dining options like Tillie’s, located at gorgeous wedding venue Camp Lucy, where visitors can pet alpacas after their meal.

For the purposes of this map, restaurants west of Highway 71 in Oak Hill were included. Feel like a road trip? Check out these other Hill Country dining destinations or the offerings within Fredericksburg or Johnson City,
