The busy fall and winter seasons are upon Austin, and with that comes the battle to find the best venue for a festive party. Whatever the occasion (baby shower, Festivus, Tuesday), there is a multitude of options for parties and dinners of every size, while still ensuring that food quality is still top-notch.

Eater gathered the best of the best private dining rooms found in Austin restaurants. Celebrate with friends at the newest and trendiest or at historical favorites (Jeffrey’s, Moonshine Grill). Many locations offer a host of additional services like television screens or floral arrangements (Uchiko, Fixe) perfect for those business meals, special dinner parties, or for those who — to be honest — get lost in planning every detail. This update adds Hestia, Qi, Maie Day, Dean’s Italian Steakhouse, and Wax Myrtle’s.

For weddings, there are restaurants that make for great receptions, catering spots, and wedding cake bakeries.
