Every season is a booming pizza one for Austin. There are pizzeria newcomers a plenty to the city. In that vein, here are Austin’s hottest new pizza spots, ranging from out-of-towners converging on the city, local blood opening their own places, to chains marking Texas notches, all within the past year.

That means out-of-town imports like Nashville’s DeSano and Elgin’s Aviator, and New York City-based Neapolitan Express truck. Then there’s Apis’ casual Pizzeria Sorellina out in Spicewood, vegan and vegetarian takes from Li’l Nonna’s, Dallas delivery spot I Fratelli, among others.

Can’t handle a whole pie? Check out Eater’s pizza slice map. Looking for Austin’s essential pizzerias? Eater has you covered elsewhere, there's our handy guide on how to eat pizza all day long.

The list below is unranked. Is your favorite new pizzeria or restaurant slinging pizza missing? Let Eater know through the comments, over the tipline, or in the forums.
