It’s back: Negroni Week, celebrating the unofficial cocktail of the summer, is almost here. The gin, Campari, and sweet red vermouth drink is mixed for the perfect bitter apéritif, appropriate for Austin's hot spring and summers.
Participating Austin bars are offering classic and non-traditional takes on the drink, where a portion of the proceeds will go towards charities of each venue’s choosing, starting on Monday, June 5 through Sunday, June 11. To make the selection easier of the 70+ participating bars and restaurants, Eater rounded up the best and most alluring options out there, from a classic take at Contigo, frozen ones from King Bee, grapefruit versions at Stay Gold and Native, and even one made with cold brew from Frank. Since Juliet, known for its Negroni flight, is closed for renovations and revamps during the week, it will donate money to Share anyway.
