South by Southwest (SXSW) is already an expensive venture: there’s the badge, accommodations for those not already in Austin, transportation, etc., etc. An easy way to cut back on all of that spending? Through food.
Searching for inexpensive meals doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice taste, though, especially in Austin. With that in mind, Eater gathered the best affordable dining options near SXSW. There are sandwiches from downtown deli Walton’s, healthy pan-Asian bowls at Red River restaurant Koriente, easy breakfasts from South Lamar truck Paperboy, and more. Meals won’t cost more than $10. Eat well and save some money.
