Austin’s fantastic Brentwood neighborhood Indonesian food truck will be opening a second location in South Austin this month. Yeni’s Fusion’s second truck will be found at 510 West Oltorf Street in Bouldin Creek starting on Friday, January 5.

Yeni’s owner and chef Yeni Rosdiyani will serve her comforting Indonesian dishes with Texas flares at the new location. There’s bubur ayam (Indonesian rice porridge), nasi goreng (Indonesian fried rice), satay ayam (grilled chicken skewers), and nasi lemak.

Rosdiyani first opened her own restaurant in Indonesia on her property, Saung Kalitalang. And then, in Austin, she started Yeni’s as a pop-up restaurant with Instagram ordering in December 2020 as a way of figuring out what dishes she’d want to serve at her eventual food truck. Then she opened Yeni’s Fusion the food truck in August 2021, parked at at the Aristocrat bar.

When Yeni’s Fusion’s Oltorf location opens this week, the Brentwood truck will remain open. Both food trucks will offer dinner services, and also add first-time lunch hours too, per Rosdiyani.

The second Yeni’s truck is parked at the food truck park that also includes Tybah Mediterranean Kitchen.
