New All-You-Can-Eat Sushi Restaurant Is Coming to Round Rock

An all-you-can-eat sushi and Japanese seafood buffet restaurant is coming to the Austin area, per Community Impact. Raku AYCE Sushi, Sukiyaki, Buffet & Bar will be found in Round Rock at 2000 South I-35 Frontage Road, Suite C2, starting either in December 2023 or January 2024.

Raku is an offshoot of Queens, New York-based chain Umi Sushi & Seafood Buffet (not to be confused with already-established Austin restaurant Umi Sushi Bar & Grill). The Round Rock location is franchised by owner Sam Wang.

Austin pizza trailer turns into Austin pizza restaurant

Rapidly growing Austin-based Detroit-style pizzeria chain Via 313 opened a new physical location within West Sixth spot Star Bar. Its hours are from 4 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and then from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. The enclosed patio space is decked out with a red geometric wall. This restaurant takes the place of the food truck that had been serving at Star Bar.

Coming attractions, Hill Country brewery and barbecue restaurant edition

A new brewery will be opening out in Hutto sometime in 2024. Cotton Creek Brewery will feature the beer production space, a barbecue restaurant, and concert venue. Construction started back in October.
