Tacodeli coming to Circle C
Local taco chain Tacodeli is heading south to the Circle C neighborhood, as reported by Community Impact. It will open its seventh Austin location at 5701 Slaughter Lane, in the former BurgerFi digs, sometime in late summer. Tacodeli also has restaurants in Houston and the Dallas area, and an entirely new restaurant headed to Lake Austin Boulevard.
Coming attractions
A new bistro and coffee shop is opening on South Congress. Freddo ATX will be found on 2336 South Congress in the historic Walter Tips house on June 23. The menu will highlight coffee drinks, including cold (“freddo”) cappuccinos and espressos, along with wine and beer on tap.
New farmer’s market in Tarrytown
A new farmer’s market is starting up at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Tarrytown, at 3201 Windsor Road. The market will feature vendors like Tacodeli, Alchemy Juice, Green Thumb Farming, Simple Promise Farms, and Chef Robert’s Cinnamon Rolls, as well as live entertainment. The market will open this Saturday, May 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
