Austin is gaining a new cookie option with Cookies a la Carte, run by two French women, this month. The cookies will be available starting on Thursday, October 28 for online ordering, with pickups from Manon’s Shared Kitchen at 8309 Research Boulevard, or deliveries to select zip codes.

Cookies a la Carte offers several flavors of cookies, from classics like double chocolate chip and dark chocolate sea salt to rotating seasonal flavors like cinnamon, pecan, and orange and creative offerings like matcha/macadamia/strawberry chocolate. Cookies a la Carte also offers cookie cakes.

The French women behind Cookies a la Carte are Hyacinthe Romain and Sabrina Michel. Romain moved to Austin in 2019 to start a bakery called Meringue & Co., and Michel, a self-taught chef, originally helped her with that project. However, once Romain tasted Michel’s cookies, the pair pivoted to Cookies a la Carte. Meringue & Co. closed in June.

Cookies a la Carte will be open for pickups Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Orders can be placed online.
