Essential Neapolitan pizzeria Bufalina and coffee shop/bar Wright Bros. Brew & Brew are teaming up to launch a new deli at Brew & Brew called Bufalina Deli. The deli will be found at Brew & Brew at 500 San Marcos Street with an official opening Friday, July 17 and a preview planned for this weekend.

The initial menu will feature hoagies like a meatball and eggplant parm, sandwiches served on Bufalina focaccia, and two simple salads. Check out the full menu below. Bufalina owner Steven Dilley shares that there will be soon be wine specials to go along with the new menu.

Brew & Brew will handle daily operations of Bufalina Deli, which will replace the current sandwich menu, and will still provide beer and coffee, as well as a morning menu of breakfast sandwiches and Rosen’s bagels. Bufalina will take on sourcing, menu development, and providing essential ingredients like focaccia, meatballs, eggplant parm, etc.

Dilley shares that Bufalina Deli came about when the co-owner of Brew & Brew Matthew Bolick reached out to update Brew & Brew’s sandwich menu. Bufalina Due chef Kelsey Small, whom Dilley calls a “sandwich-and-pizza-obsessed East Coaster” created a menu of revamped classic sandwiches to launch the collaboration, which previewed over the weekend at Bufalina Due.

Bufalina Deli joins Italian sandwich shop La Matta in the neighborhood, though it is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
