With an ongoing pandemic and a devastating winter storm this year, Easter and Passover may be apt times to celebrate new beginnings in Austin. For social distancing purposes, there are several to-go options to celebrate the holidays available from local restaurants and bakeries. Passover takes place from Saturday, March 27 through Sunday, April 4 and Easter takes place on Sunday, April 4.

For Easter, find everything from casual house-made marshmallow chicks from downtown Southern restaurant Olamaie (and a chance to get those excellent biscuits before Little Ola’s reopens up north) to decadent lobster benedict from mini-chain III Forks, there’s an Easter to-go package to fit any celebration. Downtown hotel restaurant Goodall’s Kitchen even offers entire picnic baskets to-go, filled with sandwiches, sides, desserts, and the option to add a bottle of wine.

As for Passover, there’s za’atar roasted chicken from Chicago-based Mediterranean restaurant Aba to fun desserts from pickup bakery Vivian’s Boulangerie.

Check out the full list of to-go options for Easter below. For other brunch ideas, scope out Eater’s brunch heatmap and essential to-go brunch guide, but note that there might be holiday closures or special menu changes.
