Ice Cream Biscuit Sandwich
Lick Honest Ice Creams and Bird Bird Biscuit are collaborating on a, yes, biscuit ice cream sandwich. The mash-up item, where any of Lick’s ice cream scoops will be placed in between two slices of Bird’s biscuit, for $6.25. Partial proceeds will go towards Urban Roots. The ice cream biscuit sandwich will be available on Sunday, September 15 at all locations of Lick. Keep in mind there’s a limit of one per customer.

Hill Country Food and Wine Tour
Hill Country town Dripping Springs is offering a self-guided booze tour with the Dripping With Taste trail and passport this fall. People can visit any/all/some of the 25 participating wineries, breweries, and distilleries, like Argus Cidery, Duchman Family Winery, Vista Brewing, Desert Door, and others, throughout the month of October at their own pace. The passports are $50 per person or $90 for two.

Coffee and Cordials Event
There’s a new event focusing on coffee and cordials (distilled, flavored spirits usually paired with dessert) taking place in October. The Austin Coffee & Cordials Festival will highlight coffee from Tiny House Coffee (including its nitro cold brew), and tea and matcha from Rishi Tea. Plus there will be “sensory” activities, food, and pastries. Many items and drinks are available for purchase after entering the festival. Those with VIP tickets will be able to access the cordial lounge with cocktails. It’s free to enter, and VIP tickets are $30. It takes place on Saturday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fair Market. The festival first took place in San Antonio late last year. It benefits nonprofit ATX Vegans.
