Little Deli, the beloved Crestview East Coast-style pizzeria and deli, has opened its second restaurant in Windsor Park, as of mid-December 2019. It’s found on 1804 Briarcliff Boulevard, as noted by an eagle-eyed tipster and confirmed by the staff.
The new Little Deli will feature the same menu as the original: Jersey-style thin-crust pizza pies, as well as white, pesto and gluten-free variations; and strong sandwich selection from hot, cold, to Italian subs. Then there are big salads, calzones, and stellar desserts like black-and-white cookies, cakes, and brownies. There might be a couple of new items added to the menu.
“We just love the neighborhood,” Little Deli general manager Aidan Chladil told Eater back in September. It “has the same kind of feel as Crestview.” Little Deli had been hiring for all positions at Windsor Park, as indicated by a Craigslist posting, during that time.
This new Little Deli took over the space previously occupied by Cuban Sandwich Cafe, which closed in 2017. Originally, then-owners David and Mary wanted to turn it into a new pizzeria and sandwich shop called Rocco’s Pizza and Subs, but that never happened.
Little Deli’s Windsor Park hours are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and then from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Currently on pause is the Italian restaurant that Little Deli announced back in 2014.
