Rio Grande Valley CBD cafe and bakery Nature’s Joint announced plans to expand into Austin. It will open at 11525 Manchaca Road in far south Austin starting on Saturday, August 31.
Nature’s Joint will serve a variety of CBD-infused drinks and snacks: coffee, teas (which can be mixed with lemonade), brownies, peanut butter cups, popsicles, and lollipops. In addition, the shop will sell infused products like chocolates, sodas, gummies, and even water.
This is the second location of Nature’s Joint, which currently operates a store in Elsa, Texas, outside of McAllen. Owners Pete and Christina Salinas discovered the benefits of CBD after Pete suffered a back injury while working, and began educating others and selling products out of their home before opening the storefront. The couple decided to open the second location in Austin due to the high demand in the area and family in the city.
Nature’s Joint joins the flood of CBD-infused foods in Austin and other CBD cafe Flamingo Hemp. It should be noted that though CBD is legal in Texas now, there is little research on how it should be used or dosed.
