Coal-fired Austin pizzeria Tony C’s is opening the first of its new restaurants: Tony C’s Pizza and Beer Garden is open in Round Rock at 3800 East Palm Valley Boulevard as of today, Thursday, September 24. It offers both dine-in, takeout, and third-party delivery services. The second restaurant is slated for the North Shoal Creek area on 2900 West Anderson Lane, opening later this fall.
The new fast-casual restaurant will serve a similar menu to Tony C’s original restaurant. That means coal-fired pizzas such as the margherita, chicken parmesan, and the prosciutto and goat cheese in addition to items like meatballs, pastas, salads, and gelato from from ice cream truck and bike cart Dolce Bacio. There will also be 20 beers on draft, as well as a few wines on tap.
The new Tony C’s will have a “red-sauce Italian vibe,” per an earlier press release, with green leather booths and green-and-white tiles. As an extension of the family-style atmosphere, seating will include long, communal tables and leather booths, both good for groups, and dishes sized for sharing.
The Round Rock restaurant’s hours will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and then from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
This is a new venture comes from hospitality group TC4 & Co., a collaboration between Tony Ciola (aka Tony C) and Creed Ford IV (whose family owns Rudy’s Country Bar-B-Q). TC4 operates Tony C’s, with locations in Bee Cave and Avery Ranch; and American restaurant The League Kitchen & Tavern, which has locations in Belterra Village, Avery Ranch, and Lakeway, with a forthcoming one in Bee Cave.
