Bun B’s Labor Day Weekend Party
Rapper Bun B, who does love eating around in his home city of Houston, is hosting a big Labor Day barbecue party in Austin. Taking place at far south Austin bar Little Darlin’, there will be live music (Bun B will perform, naturally), and food courtesy of Austin chef Philip Speer (of upscale Mexican restaurant Comedor), who will cook three whole goats. There’s a $10 donation required, where partial proceeds will go towards mental health nonprofit SIMS Foundation. Alas, advanced tickets which allow for entry before 4 p.m. are sold out, but the site makes it seem as if people would potentially be able to get in after that time, though expect a long wait. It runs from noon to 10 p.m.

Potential Stadium Updates
South Austin stadium Toney Burger Activity Center will potentially undergo renovations, which will include updating its concession area, according to the released 2019 Facilities Master Plan.
