Corpus Christi pan-Asian-Texas fusion restaurant Rock and Rolls Sushi Lounge is opening in the Austin area. The second location of the restaurant will be found in Cedar Park at 1850 South Lakeline Boulevard, Suite 201, now open as of mid-September.
The Cedar Park restaurant’s menu is the same as the Corpus Christi one. There’s everything from sushi, nigiri, poke, spring rolls, chicken wings, tacos (wagyu or fish), gyoza, fried ice cream, cheesecakes, pies, and much, much more. As for drinks, there are cocktails — including Mexican martinis and margaritas — as well as beer, wines, and sake.
As a nod to the name, there should be a “guitar themed entrance” in the same, as reported by Community Impact in 2016.
Co-owner and chef David Lee opened the original restaurant in 2015, as well as Mudbugs Cajun Icehouse in 2018, both in the South Texas city. His grandfather operated a Chinese restaurant in the same area in the 1950s.
Rock and Rolls’s Cedar Park hours are from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday, and them from 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
