Peaches and Pecans Sale
Nashville-based single-focused stone fruit delivery service the Peach Truck is bringing the stone fruit across the country as part of its cookbook tour for the forthcoming The Peach Cookbook: 100 Delicious Recipes for All Things Peach. The Austin stop happens tomorrow at three locations serving up peaches (25 pounds for $42) and pecans (10-ounce bags for $10). It will be found at Austin’s Couch Potatoes South at 500 East Ben White Boulevard and Dart Bowl on 5700 Grover Avenue both from 1 to 2 p.m.; and then at the Main Event Entertainment venue at 13301 North US 183 from 3 to 5 p.m. (Also remember that it’s prime peach season in the Hill Country right now.)
