Alabama-based dessert chain the Yard Milkshake Bar opened its first Texas location at the Domain. It’s scooping out of 3400 Esperanza Crossing, across from H&M.

Yard serves those over-the-top milkshake creations made popular in 2015 by restaurants like Black Tap Burgers & Beers in New York. The shop offers 33 flavors of ice cream like oatmeal cookie and birthday batter. These can then be served in milkshakes (available in pint and quart sizes), cones, floats, or bowls with many options for toppings.

Yard also serves scoops of edible cookie dough, available in nine flavors, and has a menu of specialty sundaes (including a Keep Austin Weird version which has graham cracker ice cream, marshmallow cream, cinnamon toast cereal, and churros). Browse the full menu below.

Yard first opened in Gulf Shores, Alabama in 2017. An Austin expansion was announced in December last year.

The Austin store is open daily from noon to 10 p.m. It’s hosting a grand opening party on Saturday, June 22 from noon to 11 p.m.
