Texas fast-food burger drive-thru P. Terry’s is opening its first location outside of Austin and its 16th overall restaurant this week. The San Marcos restaurant at 515 Springtown Way will debut on Tuesday, May 14.
The menu is the same as usual: various all-natural burgers (regular, cheeseburger, chicken burger, veggie); french fries; breakfast items like the egg burger, potatoes, and banana bread; and drinks like sodas, lemonade, orange juice, coffee, and milkshakes.
Ahead of its debut, the burger drive-thru is previewing its items through delivery app Favor today, Monday, May 13. All proceeds, which will be matched by the company, will go towards the Hays Caldwell Women’s Center.
Founder Patrick Terry is looking to bring P. Terry’s into other Central Texas cities, including Houston, with the help of new chief executive officer Todd Coerver. There’s already a planned location pegged for Georgetown, set to open at 1421 South I-35 in the Wolf Crossing Development before the end of 2019.
Terry is also behind Austin-based fast-food taco drive-thru Taco Ranch, which opened in 2018 with two locations. He and co-owner and wife Kathy Terry opened the first P. Terry’s in 2005.
