East Austin restaurant and bar Revelry Kitchen + Bar expanded with a second location up in Brentwood. Called Revelry on the Boulevard, the new restaurant and bar opened at 6215 North Lamar Boulevard as of late April.

The new restaurant, which is meant to be a family-friendly space (as to the original’s policy of serving people who are 21-years-old and older). The long bar features 18 beer taps with an additional two draft cocktails concocted by beverage Alana Zanello. One is the Pups of Revelry, vodka-peach puree-lemonade-coconut La Croix cocktail benefitting Friends of Austin Animal Center.

Food-wise, the menu covers general American pub fare from culinary director Dominique Labeaud. There are boudin balls, chicken wings made with duck fat, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and fried cheesecake.

The space, which took over a former automotive shop, includes two dog-friendly covered patios, and plentiful television screens.

Owner Jonathan Lochrie, who is also behind South Austin spot Corner Bar, opened the original Revelry on East 6th Street in 2016. He announced it was opening this second restaurant in 2017.

Revelry on the Boulevard’s hours are from 4 to 11 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. Lunch will start on Tuesday, May 28. Sunday brunch will be added at a later date.
