Austin’s growing fancy bowling alley/entertainment center/restaurant/bar game is getting bigger with the addition of North Texas-based Pinstack. The first Austin location is found in Tech Ridge Center at 500 Canyon Ridge Drive, now open as of Wednesday, February 19.
The entertainment aspect of Pinstack includes a catch-all of various activities: bowling alleys, rock climbing walls, laser tag, bumper car, video games, virtual reality games, a “16-person giant foosball table,” and 20-foot-high ropes that extend over the space.
The attached restaurant serves an expected American menu, from burgers to pizza to seafood to mac and cheese pops to a pancake tower. There will be two full bars, which will serve cocktails, wines (including tapped options), and local draft beers.
Austin’s current bowling alley/entertainment center/restaurant/bar complexes include High 5, Punch Bowl Social (which just opened its downtown location), and — if it ever actually opens — the downtown location of the Goodnight.
Pinstack currently has locations in Plano, Las Colinas, and Allen, all owned by Entertainment Properties Group, Inc.
