The Salt Lick Burger
Texas chain Hat Creek Burger Company teams up with barbecue chain the Salt Lick to bring a new burger to the masses. THe Salt Lick burger will be two beef patties, topped with two slices of American cheese, coleslaw, and The Salt Lick sauce. Look for these to hit menus on April 1. $1 from each purchase will be donated to Friends of the Children Austin.
Austin Asian Night Market
On March 22-23, starting at 6 p.m., partners from the community will host Austin Asian Night Market at St. Vincent De Paul’s Thrift Store. Vendors include Pinch Boil House and Bia Bar, Allium Catering, Talaad Thai Food, NG Cafe, China Spice Seafood Restaurant, ShareTea Austin, CoCo’s Cafe, Aarisha Catering, Rice Bowl Cafe, and more.
New Pastry Chef
Elegant Southern restaurant Olamaie hired pastry chef Jules Stoddart to join the team. She will create a menu based on her childhood favorites and Southern traditions.
