Neighborhood Bar Plans Second Location in Round Rock

What to expect

Night Owl/Official

Neighborhood hangout Night Owl Bar will open a second location in the Round Rock area. The original establishment opened in Wooten in April 2017. Co-Owners Danny Parrott and Jonathan Insley picked 1900 University Boulevard for the expansion.

Night Owl Bar serves domestic and local beers and classic drinks (old fashioned, French 75, others), along with signature ones named after surrounding areas.

The Round Rock location will have a similar look to the 8315 Burnet Road space — exposed brick, reclaimed wood, cocktail tables, bench seating, and all the other trappings of a modern neighborhood bar.

Insley told Eater Austin that the second establishment will have happy hour and more cocktails named after Round Rock neighborhoods and attractions. He also said that front man Rob Bailey will also be at the helm of the new spot.

Look for the new Night Owl Bar to come online early this summer. Keep an eye here for updates on menus, timelines, interiors, and any other vital information.
