Find Eater at This Year’s SXSW

In Austin this year, get curated food and more from Eater and editor-in-chief Amanda Kludt

Heading to SXSW this year? Swing by the Deep End — Vox Media’s SXSW event space at the Belmont, 305 West 6th Street, between Guadalupe and Lavaca streets — to find programming and food curated by Eater from Friday, March 8, to Sunday, March 10.

Editor-in-chief Amanda Kludt will be at the Deep End on Friday and Saturday, talking with Eater Young Gun Mei Lin (‘14) on Friday — where the audience will also be treated to Lin’s famous congee — and to Nini Nguyen, who competes on the current season of Top Chef, on Saturday.

And this year, in addition to some of the best food in Austin, Eater will also bring restaurants from Los Angeles and New Orleans to the Deep End. Look out for dishes from Lasa, Wexler’s Deli, and more LA standouts on Friday, and from Galatoire’s, Justine, and other New Orleans favorites on Saturday.

So if you’re in Austin March 8 – March 10, head over to the Deep End to check it out. Beyond the food, attendees can find a Polygon arcade, a Curbed lounge, and more live shows from the Vox Media family, including Recode’s Kara Swisher and The Verge’s Casey Newton. See the full schedule and RSVP right here.

Thanks to our sponsors 3M, TCL, Aloft, eBay, KeVita, and Doha Debates who make The Deep End by Vox Media possible.
