Little Women Food Menu
Ahead of the premiere of the director Greta Gerwig’s new film adaption of the popular novel Little Women, Austin Central Library restaurant Cookbook is featuring a small dedicated menu inspired by the book and the 1860s. This means dishes like chicken and vegetable pot pie, Teddy’s German potato soup, and Mrs. Alcott’s ginger snaps (a nod to the author Louisa May Alcott). Scope out the full menu below. It’s available from Monday, December 16 through Sunday, December 22.

Vegan Truck Opening
Vegan truck Plow Burger is opening its third Austin food truck at vegan ice cream store NadaMoo Scoop Shop at 1701 South Lamar Boulevard in Zilker. The dairy-less frozen sweets shop is feteing the opening of the truck by hosting a vegan-geared holiday market on Saturday, December 14 from noon to 5 p.m. The truck’s regular hours will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
