Chinese cheese tea and bubble tea cafe Tsaocaa (pronounced “tao-tah”) is coming to North Austin. According to the Austin Business Journal, the chain leased space at the Market at Lake Creek shopping center at 13776 U.S. Highway 183, though there is no word on an opening date yet.

Certainly, Tsaocaa will have lots of teas, including brewed tea, fruit tea, milk bubble tea, and cheese tea, a variation of black or green tea that is topped with foamy milk and cream cheese with a dash of salt that is growing in popularity.

There will also likely be smoothies and desserts like French toffee pudding. However some restaurants serve other dishes, like offers Korean-style chicken offered in Philly and Hong Kong-style egg waffles on the menu at the Baltimore location.

The chain first arrived in the U.S. in 2018, though it has mostly concentrated in the Northeast and Midwest. Eater has reached out for details on opening dates and the menu and will update as more information is received.
