The Food Truck That Finally Combined Coffee and Rice Krispies Treats Opens a Domain Cafe

Coffee + Crisp, a food truck that focuses on coffee drinks and pastries, is expanding to a cafe in North Austin. The new location is now open at 3220 Amy Donovan Plaza in the Domain as of today, Tuesday, October 8.

The new location of Coffee + Crisp will serve espresso drinks (with the option to add house-made flavored syrups) and light fare. On the food menu are Rice Krispies treats, pastries, focaccia toasts, breakfast tacos, and a kale salad.

The cozy space keeps the dark wood aesthetic of the truck while adding plenty of seating.

Coffee + Crisp is a branch off of Kurant Events, a catering and events company in North Austin. It first opened as a pop-up during the Trail of Lights in December 2018, and evolved into a roving food truck by March of 2019.

Coffee + Crisp will host a grand opening party this Saturday, October 12 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a champagne toast and “frozen treats.” It’s open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
