New Thai rolled ice cream shop Frozen Rolls Creamery is opening on 704 North Lamar Boulevard starting on Friday, January 11. Since the downtown spot opening with limited hours, all toppings and drizzles are free and unlimited for the time being.

The ice creams are made right on the spot, where staffers will pour the liquid onto the anti-griddle, plus toppings and other ingredients. After it cools, the resulting ice cream is scraped into rolls.

There’s a major emphasis on vegan options and natural colorings like spirulina, coconut ash, and matcha.

Frozen Roll’s opening menu features flavors like vanilla, ube, strawberries, and black sesame. Combinations include s’mores, the Monkey Business (banana and Nutella), and Coconut Volcanic Ash (coconut ash and toasted coconut flakes). As for drizzles and toppings, there’s condensed milk, cookies, cereals, candies, and nuts. Scope out the full menu below.

Owners Warren and Kathy took over the angled building that had been home to Tops Kitchens and Baths.

Frozen Rolls’ limited hours will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, and 2 to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
