Sweet shops Fluff Meringues & More is now open on 4800 Burnet Road, with meringues, baked goods, coffee, wine, build-your-own pavlovas, and much more. The Rosedale patisserie is operating under limited hours for through, with full hours starting on Tuesday, October 2.

Unique to the shop is the customizable pavlovas, the meringue-based dessert. It can be filled with various fillings from lemon curd to passionfruit creams, sprinkled with toppings like fruits and nuts, and topped off with a sauce drizzle from chocolate to smoked butterscotch.

Other meringue desserts include baked Alaskas, s’mores, and marshmallows. The meringues themselves come in various forms, from the classic to the dipped. Other items include iced cakes (small or large), marshmallows, tea cakes, tarts, scones (with optional clotted cream), custards, curds, and more. There will be seasonal flavors and fillings too.

Drinks emphasize teas imported from Tea Palace London, and yes, there are afternoon tea packages that come with bites. For alcoholic drinks, there is a small wine, mead, and beer list, with mimosas available on Sundays only. Scope out the full menus below.

Owner Kristin Collins was originally going to open the bakery at 4807 Burnet Road, next door to Noble Sandwiches, but she faced permitting issues and decided to jump across the street. She took over what had been the Apothecary Wine Bar and Cafe space, which closed in May 2017. She started Fluff as a catering company in 2014, and wanted to expand with a retail shop.
