Loro, the casual Asian smokehouse from Uchi’s Tyson Cole and Franklin Barbecue’s Aaron Franklin, added a takeout menu to its lineup this week on 2115 South Lamar Boulevard in Zilker, starting yesterday, Monday, September 10.
The to-go menu features most of the restaurant’ dishes like the sweet corn fritters, chicken karaage, rice bowls with various proteins, and smoked meats like the bavette and the salmon. While the sliced brisket isn’t on the takeout menu, the brisket sandwich is available.
Pick-up orders can be placed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. only on the weekdays through the website, phone, or in-person at the restaurant’s dedicated takeout/pick-up station counter.
Cole and Franklin opened the massive counter-service restaurant in April with an all-day menu (with the exception of the brisket, which is only available during the evenings). It expanded with happy hour, which features a burger made up of prime brisket and smoked bavette, earlier this summer.
