The first Austin Gong Cha opened on Guadalupe in June.

Dai Due Taqueria is teaming up with Prohibition Creamery for two special ice cream sundae collaborations. The first is the boozy corn and amaranth sundae, made with mezcal and Dai Due’s masa and popped amaranth. That one will be available at the East 7th Street ice cream shop. Then, Dai Due Taqueria is dishing up the boozy churro sundae at the Fareground stall, made with masa-mezcal ice cream, corn-pecan-burnt milk crumble, cajeta, and pasilla chile. Everything will be available starting on Saturday, September 1 through the end of the month.

— Continuing Peached Tortilla’s monthly guest milkshake series, the Asian-Southern restaurant is teaming up with Henbit pastry chef Tavel Bristol-Joseph on the monster cookie shake. The shake is made with peach leaf-infused milk, peach compote, and icing rim with pecan brittle. On top of that will be the monster cookie, as well as whipped cream and matcha powder. It will be available at Peached Tortilla’s Shake, Burgers, and Bubbles brunch on Sunday, September 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
