Spoon + Fork is Belterra Village’s newest restaurant, serving up Thai food near Dripping Springs on 166 Hargraves Drive. The restaurant opened on Sunday, August 12, but it’s operating with a limited menu.
Spoon’s full menu spans the expected Thai and Asian dishes. There are soups (tom kha, tom yum), salads (papaya, crispy tofu), assorted curries, fried rice (including a pineapple variation), and noodles.
Larger entrees include deep-fried catfish with crispy garlic, tamarind shrimp, Mongolian beef, stir-fry chicken with chili paste, cashew tofu, and more. Desserts include the requisite mango sticky rice (when seasonally available), black ride pudding, taro with coconut cream sauce, and roti in milk and Ovaltine.
Thin or wide rice noodles, along with rices (brown, fried, steamed, or sticky) are available as sides too. There are wines and beers too.
Belterra Village is already home to the relocated Pieous Mecca, Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew’s barbecue and Cajun restaurant the Switch, League Kitchen and Tavern’s third Austin-area location, Torchy’s Tacos, Hat Creek Burger Co., and Sky Cinemas.
