Texas Senate Candidate Beto O’Rourke Skateboarded In a Whataburger Parking Lot

— Texas Democratic Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke shared a Facebook live video in which the nominee is skateboarding around a Whataburger parking lot on Saturday, August 18. The state representative appeared to be quite good at it. He and his team go inside to order food and talk to people. O’Rourke got a triple meat cheeseburger.

— The Line Austin Hotel’s only restaurant (for now) Arlo Grey is now serving breakfast and lunch starting today, Monday, August 20. The lunch menu isn’t available, but for breakfast, there are simple dishes like Greek yogurt served with pomegranate molasses, omelettes, sweet potato hash with burrata, and bacon/egg/cheese biscuit sandwiches (her homage to McDonald’s version). Breakfast is available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. every day, with lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and then from 2 to 5 p.m. (the latter only at the bar).

— There’s a new MoviePass-like beer membership program, PintHub, where people will be able to drink will be able to drink free beers at participating bars, including several Austin ones, for $9.99 every month.The free drink only applies to the first beer of the day. Austin bars, restaurants, and breweries include Via 313, Austin Beerworks, and the Hangar.
