— Farmers market stand Steamies is collaborating with East Austin Chinese restaurant Old Thousand on a new dumpling. The Sichuan beef and fennel pot stickers are made with fennel seeds, chili bean paste, and long beans. “We [took] the style, flavor, and flair of Old Thousand, and put it into our handcrafted dumplings,” said Steamies’ founder Cindy Chee in a statement. She worked on the dumpling with the restaurant’s staff, including executive chef Jeff Brown. It’s available for weekend brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

— Pints of Lick Honest Ice Creams are now available in some Texas HEBs, starting today, Monday, July 30. For Austin, this means the grocery stores in Westlake, Circle C, Far West Boulevard, Bee Cave, and Lakeway. Available will be two new exclusive flavors: chocolate cookie swirl and Texas lime pie, as well as other popular flavors like caramel salt lick, fresh mint and chocolate chip, horchata, and Hill Country honey and vanilla bean.
