Restaurant chain Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is expanding with its second Austin location up in the Domain Northside. The restaurant will open sometime in early 2019 at 11801 Domain Boulevard.

Perry’s is known for its steaks, which are carved tableside, flaming desserts, and for the Friday lunch special of a massive pork chop for $15. The new location’s 10,000 square foot space will include seating for 350 people, four private dining rooms, a bar area dubbed Bar 79, and an outdoor patio with additional seating. Bar 79 will serve up cocktails and bar bites, like a burger, pizza topped with steak, and shrimp cocktail.

Founder and owner Chris Perry lives in Austin. Perry’s opened in 1979 in Houston as a butcher shop, and grew into a restaurant spanning locations in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Denver, Birmingham, and Miami. The first Austin location arrived in 2008, at the Norwood Tower in downtown.
