— South Austin brewery St. Elmo Brewing teamed up with North Austin cidery Fairweather Cider Co. for a cider-beer hybrid drink called the Graffiti. It’s a mix of apple juice from Fairweather, St. Elmo wort, and lighter hops, which were all fermented with a saison yeast. The fun drink is found in cans that resemble spray-paint cans. It’s available for pick-up at St. Elmo today from 4 to 11:45 p.m. as well as by the pint from the tasting room.
— Recent Central East Austin restaurant Rosewood will start serving brunch this weekend, beginning on Sunday, July 15. The menu will consist of South Texas-style dishes like barbacoa with hash browns and poached eggs, peach leaf pancakes, fried oyster tacos, brisket croque madame with quail eggs, blackberry conchas, and more.
