Lin Asian Bar + Dim Sum Restaurant, the solo venture from Wu Chow’s dim sum chef Ling Qi Wu, is now open. Located at 1203 West 6th Street, the restaurant is currently open with some limited hours. It will fully open on Friday, June 8 and offer its first dim sum service for on Sunday, June 10.

The restaurant was originally slated to open in March, but the opening was pushed back. The menu features dim sum items like dumplings, both soup and pan-fried, soups, noodles and rice, vegetables, and entrees like sesame chicken and two kinds of roast duck. The restaurant also has a full bar.
The restaurant has a small dining area with seating at both the bar and the dim sum bar, a private dining room, and a few tables outside. The patio is decorated with colorful red lanterns while the interior features a large mural of a woman holding an umbrella.
According to the website, Ling, who was raised in China, developed an interest in healthy food after the premature birth of her daughter and wanted to bring healthy Chinese cuisine to Austin.
Lin Asian Bar will be open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and for dinner 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 5 p.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
