— Sixth Street standby Casino El Camino, of greasy burger and ridiculous Bloody Mary fame, is re-opening today at 11:30 a.m. The restaurant closed after a fire in April, but is ready to serve food and drinks again.
— Local burger chain P. Terry’s is opening the airport location this Saturday. The drive-thru-only location will be at 1551 Texas Highway 71.
— Wedding Oak Winery is opening a third location in April 2019. The new tasting room and production facility will be in a historic building at 229 South Pierce in Burnet.
— Essential barbecue spot Black’s Barbecue is expanding to a third location. Black’s is moving into New Braunfels, to a former Rudy’s spot at 936 Loop 337. The original location is in Lockhart, and the second is on Guadalupe Street.
— Downtown’s ever-growing hotel options are expanding yet again with a new hotel coming to West Sixth. A Hilton Canopy, the boutique brand from Hilton, will be going in to 612 West 6th Street, next to Star Bar. It promises an open-air courtyard with a restaurant and bar.
— River City Grille in Marble Falls is currently closed due to a fire yesterday morning. No one was hurt, and the restaurant hopes to reopen soon.
