NadaMoo, the Austin-based dairy-free ice cream company, is opening its first ice cream shop on 1701 South Lamar Boulevard on Friday, June 15.

The Zilker ice cream shop will offer up scoops of its popular coconut milk-based ice cream flavors, like the mint chip, birthday cake cookie dough, maple pecan, and snickerdoodle. The counter will also serve seasonal and exclusive flavors as well. Everything will be available in cup, cone, or milkshake format.

Keeping with the theme, there will be vegan baked foods and coffee available with dairy-free creamers.

The space, designed by McCray & Co, will include a three-dimensional sprinkle installation, rainbow wall, and Wi-Fi. There is also a test kitchen, where NadaMoo will experiment with potential flavors, which will be visible to the public through a glass window.

For this ice cream shop, NadaMoo took over the space that used to house Italian spot Venezia Italian Gelato, which closed sometime earlier this year.

NadaMoo is opened with limited hours for now, which will vary every day. The company will post hours on its Instagram page. It will fully open with a party on Sunday, July 15.

NadaMoo opened in 2004 with pints of coconut milk-based ice creams with agave nectar, available nationwide.
