— Food truck JewBoy Burgers is temporarily closed through the month of June. The truck, known for its latke-filled burgers, will be back in service in July on 5000 Burnet Road.
— South Austin coffee shop and beer bar Radio Coffee & Beer added cocktails to its lineup. This includes a draft margarita, Bloody Mary with pickled vegetables, and hot or cold Irish coffee with Stumptown for the former and Little City;s nitro cold brew for the latter. It plans on expanding the boozy drinks menu later on too.
— Central East Austin bar Nickel City is offering up limited Pride-editions of its hats in rainbow colors this month. Five dollars from each $24 hat sold will go towards nonprofit Out Youth.
— Sour brewery Blue Owl teamed up with Japanese-Texas izakaya Kemuri Tatsu-ya for its second collaboration, which is being released today. The result is a little Gose made with smoked limes, available in can or draft form.
— Peached Tortilla’s next milkshake collaboration is with Tiny Pies: the Tiny “Peached Pie mega-shake, a cinnamon and gingersnap-infused vanilla milkshake topped with whipped cream, peach crumb pie, and a cherry. It takes place on Sunday, June 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Burnet restaurant.
— For UT students: the Wendy’s in the Texas Union building closed yesterday.
